Summary[]
Seth and Richie seek help from Santánico; Freddie and Ximena have an encounter with Brasa.
Plot[]
Five months ago, Kate breaks out of a psychiatric institution, and while there, she identifies herself as a entity named 'Amaru'.
In Waco, Texas, Gonzalez and Ximena investigate a trail of culebra attacks which lead themselves to a confrontation with Brasa at the Lodge. They are told by a homeless culebra that many culebras are scared and going into other territories due to the immolating of other feeding dens.
The Gecko brothers look for Santánico in hopes to persuade culebras to join them in the fight against the demons. She is revealed to be running a underground fight ring in Piedras Negras and she is in a relationship with a woman named Manola and initially rejects the brothers' offer, then Seth deliberately fights two bruisers as a way to get Santánico on their side with a wager. Amaru and another demon named Olmeca arrive and get themselves into a fight with the brothers and Santánico, killing many culebras in the process. Manola is killed by Amaru and Olmeca is killed by Santánico when she battles it in the ring. Santánico finally agrees to depart with the brothers again as she has nothing left now.
Amaru is given an ad for concert showing Scott on it and orders Brasa to find him.
